Hi, I’m edward | Expert Body Therapist and NeuroTrauma Lecturer.

I have created the Science Of Touch brand to better connect individuals and practitioners on how complex trauma manifests in the body, and how we use manual therapies as a crucial tool for the healing process.

What Brought me to Lead This Movement

I’ve Lived This

I learned my lessons through real-life experiences, injury, recovery, and milestones. I’ve dealt with setbacks, and leaned into growth both as a person and a unique provider.

I Strive to learn

I continuously deepen my knowledge by studying proven (and leading) scientific research, attending courses & conferences, networking with professionals, and reading books in support of my mission.

I Am a Technician

I'm intuitive and practical at the same time, making me a expert especially with the manual therapy and attunement required to help carry the individual through a transformational experience.

I Know science

The reflex-arc and motor output are central to how we shape our human experience. This has been glazed over numerous times in the development of western psychology.

I Know SPirit

I'm a witness to the power of the therapeutic relationship. Empowerment and courage are the skills that I help my clients develop the most.

I Connect thE dots

Although I’m a likable open-minded person, our work can be considered challenging and confronting. I'm motivated to help you find results in connecting mind and body!

My Story

In the humblest of descriptions, I consider myself as an open-minded and authentic person, my drive is to live life to its most fulfilled and appreciate the growth in everything and everyone around me.

It is this same drive that brought me into the therapeutic setting. My path is a dynamic culmination of the hard farmwork of my youth, the camaraderie of team sports, my elite sports medicine education, the leadership setting of a fortune 500 company, world travel, and spearheading this entrepreneurial start-up with the focus of tying mind and body therapy through the education of somatic reflexes.

Looking back, I've been privileged to experience both ends of the spectrum of joy and grief, gain and loss, and success and falter. Somewhere in my teens, at a crucial time of my development, I sustained dramatic injuries and the subsequent trauma of recovery. The decades-long process of rehabilitation was a mirror, showing hard truth about transformation. Throughout the process, I captured my lessons-learned, enriched my perspectives and developed a deep understanding on how to rewire my systems to get some serious balance and meaning back into my life.

Fortunately, my education also carried the weight of these transformations. One modality in particular helped me integrate my body and mind wholly again: Manual (touch) Therapy. I was hooked into finding why. Through the devoted study of physiotherapy, psychophysiology, and somatic psychology, I evolved my own practice into a specialized and unique offering.

Today, I stand in my own — championing manual touch therapies as a standard in trauma and post-traumatic stress treatment. I have traveled the world and treated thousands of different individuals with my unique approach, Neurobehavioral Reflex Therapies: a high-validation treatment which tracks the bodies natural reflexes to completion.

My goal is to bring this work in specialized settings and university research, as well as train the touch practitioners of the future. Touch therapy is essential in the treatment of trauma, it’s time to put the science behind it.
